APRIL 15, 2008 - AFFTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY EVENT
A presentation on Show Me... Natural Wonders will be part of the monthly meeting of the Ladies of Oakland at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at the Oakland House, 7801 Genesta, St. Louis Country, Mo. 63123. Corrigan's presentation will cover some favorite natural sites in Missouri, ranging from bluffs to caves to springs. His talk will also cover some local spots dear to the Ladies of Oakland and the Affton Historical Society, including the area of Gravois Creek where Gen. Ulysses Grant almost lost his life by drowning on the way to court Julia Dent. Many community events, open to the public, are held through the year at Oakland House. The House is open for tours the third Sunday of month beginning April through October and at other times by special arrangements. The House is a historical gem and a community meeting place for events such as Corrigan's presentation and book signing. The April 15 event is open to the public.

APRIL 19, 2008 - LINN, MISSOURI
Osage County Library on Highway 50 in Linn, Mo. will host a “Show Me... Natural Wonders” presentation at 10 am., Saturday, April 19. The program is part of National Library Week activities. For more information, call Jan Crow at 573-897-2951. Corrigan will provide a visual presentation of Missouri’s natural beauty, and excerpts from his book, “Show Me... Natural Wonders,” with a short lecture, Q.&A. session and book signing.

JULY 15, 2007 - MONEP - POWDER VALLEY EVENT
Don Corrigan will bring his Show Me... Natural Wonders presentation to the monthly meeting of the Missouri Nature & Environmental Photographers Meeting in July. The presentation will be at the Powder Valley Nature Center Auditorium at 7 p.m.. Tuesday, July 15. The mission of the Missouri Nature and Environmental Photographers is to provide a forum for individuals interested in the field of nature photography and the environment, provide education, gather and disseminate information, and promote nature photography as an art form and medium of communication.
